How to measure yourself
If you do not have a measuring tape, use a string and ruler to measure your body.
Measuring your Chest/Bust
Measure with your arms at your sides around the fullest part of your chest/bust. The tape should go across your shoulder blades and be parallel to the floor.
Measuring your Waist
Measure around your waist where you normally wear your pants. The tape should be a little loose.
Measuring your Hips (girls only)
Measure around the fullest part of your hips while standing with your feet together. The tape should go across your butt and be parallel to the floor.
Measure your Inseam
On a pair of pants that fits you well, measure from the inside crotch seam to the opening at the bottom of the leg, round that length to the nearest to find your inseam.
Measuring your Head for Hat Size
Measure around your head with the tape just above your eyebrow ridge. If you are between two even sizes, order your hat in the next size up.
Measuring your Finger for Ring Size
Wrap a strip of paper around your finger and mark where the paper meets. The paper should slide over the knuckle. Measure the distance from the end of the paper to your mark. Use the conversion chart to find your ring size.
Other Measuring Tips
For more accurate results, all measurements should be taken over your undergarments.
If you are between two sizes, then select your size based on the type of fit you normally prefer. If you are ordering a brand that is familiar to you, select the size you usually wear.
Belts order belts one size or 2 larger than your normal pant waist size. (i.e. A size 32 pant should order a size 34 belt.)
Remember when taking any measurement the tape or string should always be comfortably loose.
